- Users interacting with groups, communities, and chat features
- Vendors, partners, and creators
- Any individual whose data is processed due to interaction with PLUR
This Policy does not apply to information shared:
- Directly with other users
- With Hosts, venues, or brands outside the PLUR platform
- Via WhatsApp, Instagram, calls, SMS, or offline interactions
- With third-party websites/apps linked from PLUR
PLUR is not responsible for third-party data practices.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect personal and non-personal information necessary to run PLUR, improve user experience, ensure safety, personalize recommendations, process payments, and comply with law.

- Bio / Interests

Event & Activity Information
- Events you host, attend, bookmark, or interact with
- Photos, captions, comments, uploads
- Reviews and feedback

Host-Specific Information (if you host events or create communities)
- Event title, description, location, timing
- Photos/videos uploaded
- Pricing, capacity, rules
- KYC details (PAN, Aadhaar, GSTIN, etc.)
- Bank/payout information
- Documents for verification (optional but recommended)
Identity Verification (if enabled)
- Government-issued ID
- Selfie verification

Communications with PLUR
- Support requests

2.2 Automatically Collected Information
Device & Technical Data

- Device identifiers (IDFA, GAID, app instance ID)

- Browser type, language, timezone
- Battery status (if required), app state (foreground/background)

Usage & Behavioral Data

- Pages and events viewed
- Taps, clicks, scroll patterns
- Time spent on screens
- Interaction with feeds, maps, filters
- Ads viewed or clicked

Location Data (with permission)

You can disable location anytime, but certain features may not work.
2.3 In-App Communications

We do not access private chat content otherwise.
2.4 Payment & Transaction Data
(When ticketing or paid features are used)

PLUR does not store full card numbers. Payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant providers.

- CCTV footage from PLUR-affiliated event venues (for safety)
Media publicly shared may be used for safety, verification, or promotional use as permitted by law.

- Analytics providers (Firebase, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Meta, Google)

When you join or host an event, others may see:

- Profile photo
- Basic event-related details you choose to share
Your phone number is never shared unless you post it publicly.
PLUR does not verify hosts, venues, or the safety of events.
4.2 With Trusted Third-Party Service Providers
For:
- Cloud hosting
- Payment processing
- Messaging/SMS providers
- Analytics
- AI-based safety or personalization systems
- Security tools
- Customer support
All are bound by strict confidentiality obligations.
4.3 For Advertising & Promotions
We may share pseudonymized identifiers with ad partners to enable:

No sensitive personal data is shared for advertising.
4.4 With Law Enforcement

Account Deletion
When you delete your account:
- Your profile becomes inactive immediately.
- A recovery window of up to 30 days may apply.
- After the period, your data is permanently deleted or anonymized except where required by:

- Financial or tax record obligations
Media shared publicly, screenshots, forwards, or content on third-party apps cannot be deleted by PLUR.
6. YOUR RIGHTS (DPDP ACT)
You have the right to:

- Delete your data (with limitations)
- Withdraw consent
- Opt out of marketing
- Port your data (where feasible)
- Appoint a nominee under DPDP Section 14

PLUR is intended for users 18+.
If a minor’s data is submitted:

10. HOST & VENUE DISCLAIMER (IMPORTANT)
PLUR is an intermediary platform.
PLUR does not verify:
- Host identities
- Venue safety
- Event quality, security, or legitimacy
- The behavior or credibility of any user
PLUR is not responsible for:
- Harm caused by other users
- Misuse of your data by Hosts or third parties
- Unlawful, unsafe, or fraudulent events
- Information you share voluntarily with others
11. AI & AUTOMATED DECISION MAKING
PLUR may use AI systems for:
- Safety detection
- Spam removal
- Recommendation ranking
- Fraud prevention
- Content moderation
AI is not used to make decisions with legal consequences without human oversight.
12. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
If data is stored or processed outside India (via cloud providers), transfers comply with applicable laws and contractual safeguards.
13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.
Changes will be reflected with an updated “Effective Date”.
